This Privacy Policy describes how Repawify ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information You Provide

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password.
  • Payment Information: When you purchase credits, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. We receive transaction confirmation details from Stripe.
  • User Content: Photographs you upload for AI transformation are stored temporarily to provide the Service.
  • Communications: If you contact us for support, we collect the information you provide in your messages.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken.
  • Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access the Service, including device type, operating system, browser type, and screen resolution.
  • Log Data: Our servers automatically record information including your IP address, access times, and referring URLs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process your AI art creations and deliver results
  • Process credit purchases and manage your account balance
  • Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and customer service requests
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities to improve user experience
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities

  • Service Providers: We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting (Fly.io), and file storage (Cloudflare R2).
  • AI Processing: Your uploaded photos are sent to third-party AI model providers (such as Replicate) for processing. These providers process images according to their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business Transfers: If Repawify is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With Your Consent: We may share information with your consent or at your direction, such as when you use the share feature to create public links to your creations.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), secure cloud infrastructure, and access controls.

Your uploaded photos and generated artwork are stored on Cloudflare R2 using signed URLs. Files are not publicly accessible and require authentication to access.

While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specific retention periods include:

  • Account Data: Retained until you request account deletion.
  • Uploaded Photos: Stored for the duration of the AI processing pipeline and for a reasonable period afterward to allow re-processing if needed. Original uploads may be deleted after 90 days.
  • Generated Artwork: Retained in your account until you delete it or your account is terminated.
  • Payment Records: Retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes.
  • Server Logs: Retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will also send an email notification to the address associated with your account.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
